Imelda Peña CPO, LPO is an American Board for Certification certified and Texas State Licensed Orthotist Prosthetist with inMotion Prosthetics, and has been part of our team since 2019. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas Pan American and subsequently studied Orthotics and Prosthetics at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. After graduating from Northwestern University, she completed a two year residency program accredited by the National Commission for Orthotics and Prosthetics Education. She has been in practice for 19 years.
Imelda contributes more than her extensive clinical experience to our practice; she has a compassionate and caring attitude towards her patients. Attentive listening, patient participation in the prosthetic design process and a love for her patients and profession, result in optimal clinical outcomes with overall high patient satisfaction experience.
It is easy for our patients to feel and know they are truly cared for from the first visit. Imelda shows a sweet disposition to help and uses every resource available to ensure patient’s successful results. This drive comes from Imelda’s core belief that she exists to serve her fellow mankind by developing and applying her individual talents and skills. She hopes to leave a memorable legacy for her little daughter through her example of humble and selfless service, and the compassionate way we should treat one another.
